Showcase your talent and earn a scholarship to continue your academic and athletic career in Italy.
The camp is open to 14 – 18 years old men and women volleyball players
The staff of Rome City Institute are professionals who have extensive experience in Italy and USA.
To identify and select players for our programs and volleyball roster in Italy.
Rome City Institute is the only school in Italy that combines an international education with the opportunity to play sports in Italy. We provide high school, gap year, undergraduate and master’s programs to international student-athletes.
Anyone who plays competitive volleyball can participate in the event. Age group is from 14 to 18 years old.
Shoes, socks, shorts and water. Jerseys will be provided at check-in.
Our coaching staff will select players based on their performance on the court and athletic background. We evaluate players on several aspects and then meet with them individually to better understand their situations and personalities. If seelcted, players will receievd a scholarship offer to join our programs.
We usually take two to three weeks from the end of the camp to evaluate players, meet with them and then send an offer if selected.
Accommodation is not included, but we will provide information about hotels nearby the facility.
We do not offer a refund option for this event, unless you have proof of a medical reasons. However, the fee you paid can be credited towards a future camp so that you don’t miss out on the opportunity.
Players and parents will be asked to sign a release statement that agrees to hold Rome City Institute harmless and to waive the right to bring legal action against Rome City Institute for any injuries sustained during the course of this event. Players are encouraged to carry their own medical insurance.
After assessing the player at the camp, Rome City Institute staff will meet with the players and families to learn more about their goals. If the profile of the player aligns with our recruiting needs, Rome City Institute will extend an official offer to join our program.

The primary objective of this camp is to identify and select talented players for our elite programs and academy in Rome, Italy. Each participant will be assessed by our coaching staff based on their individual position, performance, technical skills, and overall characteristics. Throughout the camp, players will undergo a series of structured drills, technical exercises, and competitive games to showcase their abilities.
At the conclusion of the camp, our staff will provide comprehensive insights into our programs, outlining the next steps for potential candidates.
Within 14 days following the camp, each player will receive a personalized feedback from our staff regarding their evaluation results. Those who demonstrate to be a good fit for our rosters, will be offered a scholarship and a spot to join one of our programs.
