Through our partnership with Jacksonville University, we extend a comprehensive range of financial aid opportunities to our American students — tailored to meet the diverse needs of our student body.

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Apply for federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA — including grants, loans, and work-study opportunities.

Scholarships

Awarded based on academic merit, athletic performance, and other criteria — significantly reducing tuition and other costs.

Grants

Need-based grants for eligible students — funds that do not need to be repaid, helping cover tuition and essential costs.

Student Loans

Federal and private loans help bridge the gap between your financial aid package and educational expenses, with flexible repayment.

Work-Study Programs

Florida In-State Financial Opportunities

Florida residents pursuing their studies through our partnership with Jacksonville University may qualify for additional state-funded financial opportunities.

Bright Futures — Florida Academic Scholars

  • 16 high school course credits
  • Weighted GPA: 3.50

  • Award value: $212 per enrolled credit

Effective Access to Student Education (EASE): a no-need grant for all Florida residents working on their first bachelor’s degree at a private college or university full-time in Florida. The EASE Grant amount for the 2025–26 academic year is $3,500 (subject to change by the State of Florida). Students and/or their parents must be able to document 12 consecutive months of Florida residency to be eligible.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid is a straightforward process — here’s how to get started.

  1. 1Complete the FAFSAVisit the FAFSA website and fill out the application. Be sure to include Jacksonville University’s school code: 001495.
  2. 2Submit Required DocumentsAfter completing the FAFSA, submit any additional documents requested by the financial aid office.
  3. 3Review Your Financial Aid PackageOnce your application is processed, you’ll receive a package detailing the types and amounts of aid for which you’re eligible.
  4. 4Accept Your AidReview your financial aid package carefully and accept the aid that best meets your needs.

How to Join Our Program

The admission process includes several steps you can easily complete, thanks to the 24/7 assistance provided by our Admission Office.

  1. 1Apply Online for FreeFill out our application form at romecityinstitute.com/apply — it’s completely free and takes a couple of minutes.
  2. 2Schedule an InterviewOur admission department will contact you to schedule an initial interview and answer your questions.
  3. 3Apply for ScholarshipsAfter the interview, you’ll receive a follow-up email requesting documentation so you can automatically apply for academic, athletic, and professional scholarships.
  4. 4Send the Required DocumentsCollect and send the documents required to complete your application for evaluation.
  5. 5Receive an Official OfferYou’ll receive an official offer including any awarded scholarship — evaluation takes no more than 7 days.
  1. 6Commit and Get AdmittedTake your time to consider the offer and commit when ready — keep deadlines in mind, as scholarships are limited.
  2. 7Sign Paperwork & Pay the Initial DepositSign your financial grant document and admission letter, and make the required initial payment to secure your spot and lock in your scholarship.
  3. 8Start the Student Visa ProcessFor non-EU citizens — our staff will guide you through the visa process with the necessary information and documents.
  4. 9Time to Fly to Italy!Start packing and meet us in Rome to further your education and athletic career.
