Coach Novakovic grew up and started his volleyball career in Serbia, where he also played at an International level. He then moved to the USA where he received a degree in Sport Science and played college Volleyball for 4 years. During his time overseas, he also coached the Women’s College team as an Assistant Coach. Coach Novakovic International experience is fundamental for the development of our players here at Rome City Institute.
By joining the Rome City Summer Experience program, you will have the opportunity to be part of our professional academy while leaving in the heart of Rome. The program includes:
Palaurelio is the home of Rome City’s Volleyball Academy. A renowned sports-hall with stands on three sides of the multi-functional court, recently renovated and approved for top level competition in Volleyball. Our facilities boast a unique position in the very city center of Rome, and are top notch to ensure high level trainings and competition.
Play Volleyball and visit Rome this summer! Combine professional training with some time off to experience Rome, the “Eternal City”. Our training facilities and accommodation are located in the center of Rome, within walking distance from some of the main attractions of the city. Experience the summer of a lifetime and share this experience with other players from around the world.

Rome City Institute’s Summer Experience offers a dynamic two-week experience that combines intensive training, cultural activities but also the opportunity to be recruited. For two weeks, you’re diving into hardcore training, not just to up your game but also to catch the eye of potential recruiters.
Spending two weeks in Rome will be the perfect opportunity for you to experience something new, as well as for our coaches to see if you have what it takes to join our Institution in the future.
