Your support helps students learn, compete and grow in Rome.
Is Rome City Institute accredited?
Yes. Our undergraduate degrees are delivered in partnership with Jacksonville University (US-accredited), our Master's programs with Link Campus University (recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research), and our high school pathway through ICL Academy.
Where will my student live?
In shared apartments in central Rome, with both double and single occupancy options available.
What health insurance is required?
By Italian law, all non-Italian students must have valid health insurance for the full duration of their studies. Non-European students are required to carry our own mandatory private plan, which covers accidents, illness, mental health services, medical evacuation, repatriation and a 24/7 emergency hotline worldwide. European students are generally covered through reciprocity agreements, though we still recommend our plan for broader protection. Note for U.S. students: this is supplemental coverage, not a replacement for your insurance back home.
How does the visa process work?
EU/EFTA students can travel visa-free. Non-EU students need a Student Visa (Type D); our admission team assists throughout the process.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Merit, athletic and need-based scholarships are available, and FAFSA is accepted through our partnership with Jacksonville University.
