Golf in Italy represents tradition, excellence, and growing international recognition. By joining our program, student-athletes train within a structured and competitive system supported by the Italian Golf Federation (FIG).
Rome City Institute provides a professional environment that combines academic excellence with high-level golf development. With official federation registration, structured weekly training, and access to one of Rome’s premier clubs, our golfers are fully immersed in a setting designed to prepare them for competitive success while experiencing the unique lifestyle of Rome.
Competition is central to player development.
Through official registration with the Federazione Italiana Golf (FIG), our golfers become eligible to compete in regional and national events based on their handicap level.
The program guarantees entry into 15 official club competitions and provides pathways toward FIG Youth Circuits, National Championships, team competitions representing Golf Parco di Roma, and potential international selection for elite players. With clear handicap benchmarks for progression, athletes compete within a recognized system that records and validates their results nationally and internationally.
Our goal is to provide student-athletes with a professional academic and athletic pathway tailored to individual performance levels.
Each golfer trains three times per week under professional coaches, focusing on technical refinement, course management, and competitive preparation.
Because golf is an individual sport, development is personalized according to handicap level and competitive objectives.
In addition to on-course training, athletes gain structured guidance aligned with FIG standards, supporting long-term progression within Italian and international competitive systems.

For our golfers, Golf Parco di Roma represents more than a training venue — it is a premier golfing environment in one of Europe’s most historic cities.
As official members of the club, student-athletes benefit from full access to practice facilities, unlimited practice balls, and course access (with a valid handicap).
The club regularly hosts official competitions and provides the professional setting necessary for competitive growth. Training in Rome allows athletes to combine performance development with the unique cultural and lifestyle experience the city offers.
