    Athletic Director & Men's Soccer Head Coach

    Mauro counts many years of experience as a professional coach. He has been part of Alessandro Nesta’s coaching staff at Perugia and Frosinone Calcio in SerieB, and currently covers the position of Assistant Coach with the Women’s Italian National Team U19.

    Head of Performance

    Italian Soccer Federation Athletic Trainer with years of experience with pro clubs and Italian national team, Marco won the European Championship with the U19 Italian National Team.

    Cristiano Viotti

    Head of Goalkeeping

    Besides being our Head of Goalkeeping performance, Cristiano is currently a first team coach at professional club SS Lazio. Cristiano also counts multiple years of experience with the Italian National Team.

    Train like a Pro in the heart of Rome

    By joining the Rome City Summer Experience program, you will have the opportunity to be part of our professional academy while leaving in the heart of Rome. The program includes:

    • Training 5 times a week (Monday through Friday)
    • UEFA licensed coaches
    • Strength & Conditioning Gym sessions
    • GK Training
    • Fun and cultural activities
    • Accommodations – in the heart of Rome and within walking distance to the training facility 
    • Full training gear kit provided by Rome City
    • Video footage of training sessions and games. 
    • Individual player evaluation and report provided by our professional coaches

    Rome City Training Center

    Located in the center of Rome, our training center is 18 acres large, which allows our athletes to live a professional experience in every aspect. From the soccer pitch you can experience one of the most breathtaking views in the world. The center includes:

    • 11vs11 soccer pitch Two 5vs5 soccer pitch and one 8vs8 soccer pitch
    • Two Basketball Court
    • Training & Physio Room
    • Swimming pool
    • Padel courts
    • Cafeteria for our athletes

    Play soccer and visit Rome this summer! Combine professional training with some time off to experience Rome, the “Eternal City”. Our academy and accomodation are located in the center of Rome, within walking distance from some of the main attractions of the city.     Rome City Institute’s Summer Experience offers a dynamic two-week experience that combines intensive training, cultural activities but also the opportunity to be recruited. For two weeks, you’re diving into hardcore training, not just to up your game but also to catch the eye of potential recruiters.

    Spending two weeks in Rome will be the perfect opportunity for you to experience something new, as well as for our coaches to see if you have what it takes to join our Institution in the future.

    * Mandatory accommodation for minors unless staying with a parent

    CANCELLATION POLICY BASED ON NUMBER OF DAYS PRIOR JULY 6, 2025

    60 ore more days: 100% back (minus EUR 250 administrative fee)

    59-50 days: 75% back

    49-40 days: 50% back

    39-30 days: 20% back

    29-0 days: 0% back 

    *Players will receive a 75% refund at anytime in case of documented injury that prevent participants to attend the summer experience program
