Rome City Institute Lacrosse Summer Experience will be offered in partnership with 10X Lacrosse and Signature Lacrosse. 10X has the goal to develop the game at grassroots level by learning new concepts and new skills with more than 5 years of experience in running clinics and camps all across the United States. The shared goal of the Rome City Institute and 10X Lacrosse Summer Experience is our love for the game, passion for creating positive leadership in lacrosse, communication, integrity, and effort. 10X is part of Signature Lacrosse, one of the top lacrosse brands in the world, partner of NLL and FIL. Together with 10X and Signature Lacrosse, we will promote and vehicle the values of lacrosse: leadership, inclusion, integrity, and passion.
DAN SOVIERO – Dan is a long-time Lacrosse Coach, serving as a coach from the national travel level to local youth and travel programs around the United States. Dan believes that developing a passion for the sport is the first step to success.
Through amazing mentorship and coaching Dan was able to maximize his drive to become one of the top midfielders in the state, receiving first team All-American honors twice and taking his team to the final four. Since then, he was recruited to play D1 Lacrosse at St John University, then transferring to play D2 at University of Tampa, to focus on starting a business (Signature Athletics, Inc.).
Dan is currently the President & CEO of Signature Athletics, Inc., and leads one of the largest Florida regional lacrosse clubs in program development and coaches training. Signature Athletics received recognition as one of the INC 5000 fastest growing companies in 2022, and Dan was a 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Sports.
MADELINE LEWIS – Maddie has been involved in growing the game of lacrosse in the United States since 2017. Maddie is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of 10X Lacrosse- which operates lacrosse programs with year-round offerings, the Palms Lacrosse Club regional travel program, day clinics, and camps, as well as overnight lacrosse camp experiences. Between each program and event opportunity, 10X Lacrosse provides lacrosse offerings for over 500 unique players.
Maddie grows the game of lacrosse worldwide through grassroots efforts from hosting coaches clinics in Hong Kong to introducing the game of lacrosse to children in Panama. She is passionate about the experience of sports in a child’s development, access to opportunity, and character development.
Additionally, Maddie is the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team at the Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida; and received the 2022 nomination for “Tampa Bay’s Top 10 under 40” businessowners’ award.

Located in the center of Rome, our training center is 18 aches large, which allows our athletes to live a professional experience in every aspect. From the soccer pitch you can experience one of the most breathtaking views in the world. In May 1926, the Cardinal Pietro Gasparri consecrated this magical place
