    After 3 years alongside Italian Legend Alessandro Nesta, Mauro Girini is currently our Athletic Director & Head of Football as well as U19 Women’s Italian National Team Coach

    Marco Montini
    Director of Performance

    Marco Montini is the S&C Coach of the U19 Men’s Italian national Team as well as Rome City Institute Professor of Sport Science.

    Cristiano Viotti
    Director of GK 

    After many years as the Head of GK Methodology for the Women’s Italian National Team and GK coach of the First Team, he is now the GK Coach for Champions League and Serie A Club SS Lazio. At the same time is going to work with Rome City Athletic Department as head of our Gk coaching methodology. 

    Train like a Pro in the Heart of Rome

    By joining the Rome City player experience program, you will have the opportunity to be part of our professional academy while leaving in the heart of Rome. The program includes:

    • Training 5 times a week (Monday through Friday)
    • UEFA licensed coaches
    • Strength & Conditioning Gym sessions
    • GK Training
    • Fun and cultural activities
    • Accommodations – in the heart of Rome and within walking distance to the training facility
    • Full training gear kit provided by Rome City
    • Video footage of training sessions and games.
    • Individual player evaluation and report provided by our professional coaches

    Rome City Training Center

    Located in the center of Rome, our training center is 18 aches large, which allows our athletes to live a professional experience in every aspect. From the soccer pitch you can experience one of the most breathtaking views in the world. In May 1926, the Cardinal Pietro Gasparri consecrated this magical place

    The center includes:

    • 11vs11 soccer pitch Two 5vs5 soccer pitch and one 8vs8 soccer pitch
    • Two Basketball Court – 1 Indoor 1 Outdoor
    • Training & Physio Room
    • Swimming pool
    • Padel courts
    • Cafeteria for our athletes.

    The Player Experience program, is the perfect opportunity to be a part of our professional academy during the year, and have a glimpse of what it means to be a Rome City Lion. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to explore Rome, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. 

    Our facilities and accomodations are located in the city center of Rome, within walking distance from some of the main attractions of the city. On top of this, you will have the opportunity to do this with players from all over the world!

    Fall  intake: From 2nd week of September to last week of November

    Spring intake: From the last week of January to the last week of April

    1-week minimum stay

    * Mandatory accommodation for minors unless staying with a parent

    Group of two: 8% discount

    Group of three:  10%

    Group of four: 12%

    Group of 5 or more: special rates will be applied

    1 week – EUR 1,900

    2 weeks –  EUR 3,490

    *Mandatory option for minors traveling without parents

    *Travel expenses are not included in the price

    *Option available for 18+ players or minors traveling with at least one parent

    Here is our cancellation policy:
    45 days prior to the start of the event is 100% back.
    44-35 days prior to the start of the event is 75% back.
    34-25 days prior to the start of the event is 50 % back
    24-15 days prior to the start of the event is 25% back.
    0% refund if cancellation happens within 14 days prior the start date of the event
