Rome City Prep Academy offers specialized training programs in Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball — open to both male and female student-athletes. From our main field in the heart of Rome to our dedicated performance gym, every facility is shared across our Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball programs and designed to support serious student-athletes.



Open to both male and female student-athletes, our Tennis program pairs daily training at Rome City Tennis Prati — our own hub just across the bridge from campus — with a genuine route into the Italian federation system. As one of our newest programs, it’s an area we’re actively building out.
Our coaching team blends the Italian national tennis system with first-hand NCAA experience, giving every player a complete, professional training environment.
Two clay courts and one hard court at Rome City Tennis Prati, just a 5-minute walk from the Academic Building — plus full access to the main campus gym and physiotherapy & recovery center.


Four to five days per week, with sessions focused on technical skills, tactical awareness, and match play.
One dedicated gym session per week for strength development, mobility, and injury prevention.
One to two additional sessions per week to build endurance, agility, and overall athletic performance.
September through May, mirroring the Italian competitive tennis calendar.
Rome City’s own internal singles-and-doubles competition, played over a one-week event each season.
Access to the official Italian Tennis Federation (FIT) system — a professional, merit-based pathway distinct from the US collegiate model.
Local, regional, and national FIT tournament results count toward an official Italian ranking.
Students build or improve their ITF ranking in their first semester, with a path to regional, national, and international tournaments.
Open to both male and female student-athletes, our Volleyball program trains at PalaAurelio in the Cornelia area and competes through Italy’s official club structure, from FIPAV placement to international tournament play. As one of our newest programs, it’s an area we’re actively building out.
